Now, there were both ups and downs, so to speak, when it came to Trogir. I guess on one hand, it is really something. The history, the architecture, they really do offer a glimpse into Croatia’s past. But, honestly, you could find it a little crowded, especially during the peak tourist season. Like your group has to move around and all, it’s not that relaxing when you have lots of people bumping you every moment. The time spent there was, well, adequate enough, maybe like an hour and a half. This was sufficient enough for just walking around and grabing a coffee. In short, Trogir is definitely a very nice destination. Just remember that you should prepare yourself for a lot of people if you happen to be going during the hotter part of the season.

Krka National Park: Nature’s Masterpiece

Krka National Park is like the star of this tour, it is. After Trogir, it is a bit of a ride. That said, the landscapes you get to see along the way actually make it really good, it is. From the moment that you enter the park, it becomes apparent that you are entering something extremely special, well, a world of natural stuff that is.

What really separates Krka National Park, like your famous Plitvice Lakes, it really has to be that you are able to swim in some designated areas, very cool. Skradinski Buk, now, is the biggest and maybe even most famous waterfall over there, really beautiful. I spent a big part of my time just taking it all in, very spectacular to see. You can take a swim nearby and this truly provides that very cool, unique experience to kind of get a connection to nature. Besides the waterfall, it’s like there are many walking trails around that, I felt that they catered to all levels. It has those easy boardwalks over the water so, too you have some dirt paths if you happen to be up for something more demanding.

Also, do keep in mind that visiting Krka might involve walking a bit, maybe over uneven surfaces so just make certain to wear extremely comfortable shoes. Now, my advice would be that if you really would like to dodge big crowds and have this nice time all to yourself, go really early or perhaps go later around in the afternoon. Because the man spoke fluent English, communicating things with him were a piece of cake.
