Siargao Tour C Shared Tour: A straight Scoop and Some Good Ideas

Thinking about taking Tour C when you visit Siargao? So, this could be just the ticket. Maybe you’re on your own or you just don’t want to blow a bunch of cash on a private boat. A shared tour sounds appealing. Is that right? We went on Tour C, and I would like to tell you about it, sharing the good parts and some stuff you might want to think over before booking.

What is that Siargao Tour C all about, anyway?

Okay, so, Tour C is pretty famous. This island hopping thing shows off three cool spots close to General Luna. This is where a lot of visitors in Siargao hang out. It usually takes a whole day. Think about leaving in the morning and getting back in the late afternoon. This can be like, a full day deal!

Naked Island is that sandbar that you’ve probably seen online. There is like, almost nothing there but sand. Daku Island is, rather, a big island where you stop for lunch and where there are usually things going on. Then there is Guyam Island. Guyam is a cute, small island you can walk around in a couple of minutes. Like your own deserted island…pretty much.

Getting Booked: What You might Expect

Booking Tour C is, alright, usually a snap. Loads of tour outfits in General Luna offer it. Hostels, hotels, little stands right on the road? They practically all sell this trip. Okay? Asking around and comparing prices is a good idea, but honestly, it could be that the prices are all within the same area. Don’t think that there is much wiggle room.

We booked through our hostel, mainly for the reason that, it was convenient. What is important, though, is making sure that what the trip gets you is plain. Things like entrance fees, lunch and drinks usually are not included. That could, in fact, add up, so be prepared. What’s good is that a lot of these operators let you pay with a card now, but bring some cash just in case anyway.

The Boat Trip: What to keep in mind

Most shared tours use these bangka boats. Bangkas are local outrigger boats, okay? So, they are part of the fun in a way. If the sea’s a bit choppy it’s almost a rollercoaster. We had a nice day. Yet, the waves can definitely add to the feeling, but sometimes they make the ride longer and a little bumpy.

Is that you are packed onto these boats. I think our boat had about 15 people on it? It was cozy, really, really cozy. When it comes to stretching out, you should not get your hopes too high, but most people didn’t seem to mind all that much. Maybe your legs might get cramped. So, standing up now and then is something you could consider.

Naked Island: More or Less a Sandbar Paradise

So, Naked Island is exactly how you see it in the pictures. No buildings, no trees, nada. Pretty much nothing but sand, alright? It’s like, super cool for taking pictures, alright, and pretending you are all alone in the sea. Remember the sun beats down strong. Is that? There isn’t shade. So, lather on the sunscreen. Maybe put on a hat. Also, maybe bring sunglasses. Because seriously, there is no place to hide.

We got maybe 45 minutes there? This may depend on your tour. Is that? To me, that felt about right. People start showing up on boat after boat. In a way, the island stops seeming so deserted. It becomes more of a party scene in the sun!

Daku Island: Lunch and A Vibe

Daku Island is usually, alright, the lunch stop, and maybe a time for meeting people. So, most tours stop at the main section of beach. There’s usually places where you can grill food, and of course you can buy lunch, but it usually does not come with the cost of the tour. Is that okay with you? Food can vary, of course. They will always have fish and stuff.

When it comes to activities, a lot of people relax in the sun or take a dip in the water. Some locals might come round trying to sell stuff, but they are, usually, really chill about it. Daku has like, a community vibe, that could be pretty enjoyable, in some ways.

Guyam Island: The small One That Charms

Guyam Island may be, alright, my top place we checked out, alright. This tiny, tear-shaped island, could be walked around in like, ten minutes? A very tiny stretch. Is that, if you want that tropical island photo. Here’s where you take it! They might have a few trees offering shade if you want that. But not much else is going on there, honestly.

For us it was like, the chill-out stop, you know? I mean you could sit around, let the sun dry you. It could be that the waves aren’t all that big in this area too. Maybe that could work, if you would like to give your kids a swim in the ocean.

What Should You Take Along, Anyway?

Okay, so, let’s talk about like, bringing things, because forgetting the right things can totally affect the experience.

Sunscreen This one, naturally, comes in super useful, really. Being closer to the equator means like, some pretty strong UV rays!
Towel Getting dry after all that swimming? That is one reason to have it, definitely. Maybe it helps when you need a place to sit on the boat.
Cash You have to purchase lunch and maybe an entrance fee or a drink or something. So yeah. Small vendors out there might not be up for a card.
Waterproof Bag Seriously, you’re on a boat, is that clear? Even if the sea’s calm there’s still, quite, a high probability that things might get damp.
Camera Of course you want a camera. Those islands? Absolutely killer, especially on Guyam and Naked Island. Don’t lose that shot, obviously.

Tour C Shared Tour: The advantages and disadvantages of Taking it?

Okay, to get it straight, is the Siargao Tour C shared thing a worthwhile deal? Okay. That may ride on what you want to get out of your time. Now, here’s what I found:

Advantages

Affordable: In comparison to getting a personal boat? You pay way less, clearly, really good for those that do this backpacking thing.
Easy To Organize: Okay. So the place you’re at probably offers it! Less time making stuff happen and a greater amount of time just chilling.
Meeting Folks: Getting together with other travellers tends to make it fun, particularly if you happen to be travelling by yourself and feeling sociable.

Disadvantages

Crowded: Okay this should be, rather, apparent? You’re with fifteen more people. This tends to make for not a whole amount of space. Be okay with close proximity to others.
Less Control: Time is of the essence, if you have an agenda of some sort! This goes with what everybody on the boat wants to do! A little flexible seems, alright, appropriate.
Variable Quality: Depending on operator, boats might be spiffier, the food a lot better, the guides a lot nicer, so make sure that the review says that this place rocks.

If that is what you should go with, in order to chill for the day and see lots of sights without costing too much, Tour C could be, basically, a totally great move. If the vibe you are looking for is personalized or with total privacy, the idea may not be as good, actually. This trip is like, something that makes sense to get done one way or another while seeing Siargao.

In the event that your priority list is not to waste so much money to still get things seen? It should be that doing Tour C can, at the end of the day, get things done for that vacation.
