When I walked into this studio I had booked a few weeks beforehand, I really did feel the excitement kicking up right away. It, clearly, wasn’t just your typical photo place; that space screamed, like, fancy with all the very bright lights, slick design, and racks jam packed full of super nice looking dresses and outfits. The place really did a really great job showing off Seoul style from a mile away!

I’m just, really, starting things off with, you know, an important chit-chat! You know, talking is really good! And they need you, obviously, to talk! Basically, I kicked things off talking to my stylist. What an angel, that person was! We talked a ton about the kind of image I wanted, I talked of course about skin care issues that really stress me out, what my favorite colors are, and outfits I really liked. She went hard taking notes to, basically, make a plan to match the makeover and pictures to my style.

Then it was go-time with hair and makeup. To start, I will let anyone reading this know, that makeup artists? A treasure to the human condition. This artist dove right into giving my face a very careful moisturizing facial, layering, like, tons of lotions and potions, before any, really, actual makeup even started! This gave my makeup a finish that was so healthy, glowy, and still felt so light that I, like, barely realized I was even wearing any makeup, after so many steps. My artist did such a slam-bang of highlighting all my favorite spots, to look, of course, absolutely wonderful, without using heavy contouring. Then my artist styled my hair with soft curls, they were basically perfect! Not overdone. Perfect.

Changing, then, into those provided garments! I finally got to wear, that day, one of those cool clothes they had on stand by to choose. Thank god someone was helping, and there! There was an enormous number of things to chose. Fortunately that helpful lady who took notes before also did some picking to pick ones based on what she was able to read on my tastes and desires. As a neat addition, she had things from accessories down to shoes so the look that I went with was extremely well curated! The photoshoot went smoother than i ever imaged that it could go! My picture taker took every possible opportunity to put my mind and feelings in a calmer state that felt great and really helped show my authentic nature to shine bright while getting the pics snapped. They said, very clearly, what poses and turns were better and were able to turn any photo-taking situation a total noob like me was facing a snap to get used to. They actually went overboard, very far, in their excitement of ensuring I’d actually loved how the picture turned out. That was such an awesome moment in itself! After I put my very trust into her I have no shame into declaring and agreeing with their assessment. In the shots the photographer had me laughing, posing to what the artist seemed best, or gave me tips for me to feel as attractive, hot, cute and beautiful as possible! (Which as anyone knows by now is hard without any external positive voices.) After my set the very hard part was, obviously, going through the very insane amount of raw shoots and decide which would receive after editing. That actually took ages! After the great struggle, and after I was completely done with being picky they told me how those would come over as to not make me expect something different from reality, with touch-ups on the fly with details of airbrushing and the rest for anything more would make me dish more.

How the Pictures Ended up Turning Out

Pictures I took? Absolutely awesome. And better than my selfie face by eons! Basically all thanks to excellent light settings to every very slight, teeny tiny pose. All shots show off, like, not just my features, but captured my attitude as the subject as, seemingly, clearly directed. You have to believe, they are absolutely stunning pieces of work. And well more than awesome I did like and appreciate! Not actually going to lie, i would and could do it again right now.
