Sarajevo Castles Tour: A Detailed Review

Alright so, ever considered wandering through Bosnia and Herzegovina and sort of, soaking up some serious history? You might have, but anyway, just a little tip, the ‘From Sarajevo Vranduk Srebrenik and Tesanj Castles Tour’ actually is a quite spectacular way to do that. Like your getting a good look at the medieval fortresses that basically, are scattered around the landscape, anyway, and it all kicks off, pretty much, from the capital. Now, that does sound very fascinating!

First Stop: Vranduk Fortress

Vranduk Fortress. Very cool name isn’t it? Anyway, it’s not very far from Zenica, just a little jump, that, actually has, a bunch of seriously big historical and what, strategic vibes. The Ottomans really kept a close eye on things from up there so too, because they were securing the trade routes as I was saying, too. I almost forgot, that this very spot gives very terrific views and, if you’re anything like me, really just the sort that loves great camera opportunities, maybe you would like it! The fort itself, I mean is not so huge, and you will be making your way around very quickly, almost, soaking it up because, frankly, it packs more in that is often found elsewhere.

And it is that sort of small, maybe kind of out of the way places, alright, the very old guardhouses almost seeming, really still stand. It may come as a surprise that these fortresses might be some sort of museum type place too and the displays are really, rather clear plus informative with all their very cool bits displayed in an accessible display almost.

What I Really Liked:

Views. Oh man, yes. Very, absolutely outstanding views for taking in, that really help sort of get some orientation and take some time out.
Feel, literally, a deep connection to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s story and so very many years and moments captured in one site.

Just you really needing to have, very reliable footwear; so many slightly, very worn and rough stones! Just the slightest lapse could catch someone out.

Next Up: Srebrenik Castle

Now this place here! It’s Srebrenik. What an iconic castle! You may want to note it does command its hilltop pretty strikingly just sitting kind of above, really above a village of it’s namesake as a matter of fact. This is, arguably, like very dramatic and pretty picture-perfect and really should satisfy and inspire the photograph takers to get some stuff out of the lens so too. So, it goes way, way back and really, it used to be really significant that, kind of throughout medieval times, really kind of having served off of, what many would say is Bosnia’s sort of defense spot.

Basically this castle has it all that is thought it has: great big solid rock and so so much room! This also does very well mean climbing just that little bit more maybe, almost certainly upwards plus more clambering that; arguably too, in some other, like your really modern day “groomed and all manicured tours.” Do consider also so too what with all the pretty uneven steps; just what a treat though if wanting to have, I would very definitely argue, much deeper historical connections so there!

Don’t Miss:

Those insane scenic view that, like go without mentioning, really stretching far off!
Almost, the entire climb really and very especially thinking and doing, your history for taking very awesome and atmospheric pics.

Remember though, literally just pack wisely what because, like really appropriate and safe gear plus hydration for keeping well and doing more when outside.

Finally: Tesanj Castle

Okay so Tesanj alright, one can definitely almost see how kind of special things just look a tad different just a little more central alright with Bosnia so being and really being in the kind of urban centre rather and less with these almost abandoned wild hills sort of there as they are in several bits really of other olden buildings in previous stages of a days trips!

Tesanj here gives maybe very easily as a result that because so many folk almost always reside here! From those sort of great times, arguably because, right after some big restoration work there basically lies much local legacy and some seriously epic views of the surrounding areas there! That makes for just like a great chance and place; you know where lots of stories kind of show up and spread here so too. If it really has got some good times vibe happening it’s almost because; arguably also there might probably turn that, because its history makes really special and worthy.

Here’s What Makes It Special:

With some great displays of historic significance here there’s some truly nice relics as a matter of fact for people loving stuff they love.
Get like seriously super panoramic vistas from all points up very high really across landscapes round the vicinity.

Arguably still with loads climbing doing so that might actually pose like some levels some of fitness but actually also very just like doing very very slow times going round too maybe just because you also like want soak the great stuff here; or maybe some kind of aid.
