Salou Park Sama Review: Is that Vermouth Tasting & Hotel Pickup Worth It?

Visiting a new place, more or less, involves trying to squeeze in as much as possible. When vacationing in Salou, Spain, Park Sama seemed like a nice option, too it’s almost a refreshing break from the beach crowds. I’d read, very casually, online regarding the ‘From Salou Park Sama with 1 Vermouth Tasting Hotel Pickup’ and figured, in some respects, it would be a fairly okay thing to do. What I didn’t count on, apparently, was that little details would either make it a lovely, pretty great half-day escape or something less spectacular. So, anyway, let’s get into my, literally honest, thoughts.

Salou Park Sama Review: Is that Vermouth Tasting & Hotel Pickup Worth It?

First Impressions and the Hotel Pickup

One thing that can kinda make or break a trip is convenience, right? Having a hotel pickup certainly seemed like a big plus when I was making my arrangements. First impressions actually, clearly, do count, and not having to, literally, mess with local transport first thing was really welcome. The vehicle turned up basically on time, and that driver seemed friendly enough. So far, basically, so good.

Exploring Park Sama: More or Less Like A Hidden Gem?

Park Sama apparently has a bit of story to tell, if, that, you’re really into old estates. What I found was rather a bit of green calm not that far from Salou. The landscaping maybe seems interesting enough, it’s got that, like, “historic garden” vibe going on. The artificial lake does give it a certain peacefulness, which is, honestly, pretty amazing given its location. I’m not an arborist so to say, but all them unique trees might well keep any garden lover properly captivated.

The Vermouth Tasting: Okay Moment or Highlight?

Now, you get to the good stuff the vermouth tasting bit. It was not really an, extremely elaborate affair. Honestly, maybe don’t expect some deep insight into distilling. It’s like, very much just an okay-ish sample in pleasant surroundings. I can kinda see some people might well enjoy this part rather, but to me, it just, honestly, didn’t stick out.

What Could Be Different

Even, honestly, just a tiny bit, tweaking might really improve it, as a matter of fact. More story telling regarding the estate would prove a very better appreciation of things, too it’s almost a big lack in direction. Maybe you would find even offering just a couple of unique local snacks alongside your vermouth sample will really help things a long. If Park Sama’s curators, apparently, focus upon boosting any engagement in things, as a matter of fact it, honestly, could quickly transform such a very good place to one worth recalling with more care and attention to details.
