This experience, so it jumps right into things, and I appreciated that. We weren’t watching someone make pizza, but we’re making pizza ourselves. I like that because, frankly, they showed us how to mix and knead, with guidance and a bit of the ‘feel’ you only pick up from doing it. That moment you felt the dough start to come together? That was a moment, truly!

What was so important, though was learning about different dough styles? A thicker crust Roman style pizza, too it’s apparently quite different to how pizza is made in Naples. You also get to add toppings. Everyone piles on cheese and basil but I was trying some vegetables. The chefs will provide whatever you wish for I feel.

Alright, the million-dollar question is that did my pizza actually taste nice? I am actually so pleased to report back to you that the pizza did really hit the mark. It sounds strange, but it tasted so better since I was putting in effort! That was an unexpected treat. The crust, and that’s because the bottom can often be burned tasted so good with the toppings, they were all so fresh.
