Review: Red River Tours – Phu Quoc Northern Sightseeing

So, are you thinking of checking out Phu Quoc and want to get a taste of the northern part of the island? That’s fair enough. Red River Tours Northern Sightseeing option could very well be your thing. This review will give you a better look at what’s in store, like what’s fab and what, well, could perhaps use a tiny adjustment.

First Impressions: Gearing Up For An Adventure

Phu Quoc Vietnam Adventure

That said, booking this thing, is fairly straightforward. Red River Tours’ site is mostly easy to use, and you can find the Northern Sightseeing tour thing without way too much trouble. Anyway, communication was fairly snappy. Any questions I had got actually got addressed pretty quickly. Now, the initial excitement of seeing the sights, it is definitely there! Anyway, it’s a pretty good way to get ready for checking out northern Phu Quoc.

Pepper Farms: A Spicy Start

Phu Quoc pepper farm

First up, they take you, like, to a pepper farm, very interesting. Anyway, walking through the rows of pepper plants is pretty interesting. Seeing how pepper goes from a tiny thing to a thing on your plate is actually pretty amazing. Of course, you actually get to sample a bit, too, so you kind of know what you’re getting before you grab some for home. Also, the guides seem like they certainly know a great deal about the growing of pepper. It’s certainly interesting to ask a bunch of questions.

Honeybee Farm: Sweetness Overload

Phu Quoc honeybee farm

Next stop, it’s like, a honeybee farm. This is, perhaps, ideal if you’re into that kinda stuff. Very cool, they show you, basically, how they farm honey and stuff like that. As I was saying, seeing all those bees zooming around the hive it’s pretty wicked! Sampling the honey is fun, especially the different sorts. Anyway, you’ll get to find different tastes depending on which plant the bees are visiting for pollen! Now, it is quite cool to actually listen to them and all, it’s almost peaceful.

Phu Quoc National Park: Into The Green

Phu Quoc National Park

Alright, then you go into Phu Quoc National Park. I’m not sure if you’ve been? So anyway, that’s the wild stuff! So anyway, hiking’s good, getting close to all sorts of things growing and tiny animals is amazing. The guides can explain things like, the different kinds of plants and stuff, and you learn, almost without knowing you’re doing it. Now, sometimes, it’s a bit hard with too many folks there; too it’s almost better during not such a super busy moment.

Ganh Dau Cape: Views and Seafood

Ganh Dau Cape Phu Quoc

Ganh Dau Cape is next, providing views that look amazing! Anyhow, taking photos there is almost ideal because it actually seems as if everything seems so cool. You are getting photos of the coast from high up, but, you know, just, sort of, slightly dangerous. Also, you may even get to have seafood close by; anyway, chilling nearby while chow-down on some tasty sea critters might be good if you are okay with all the fish and seafood stuff.

Rach Vem Fishing Village: Starfish Beach

Rach Vem Fishing Village

Last thing, they take you to Rach Vem Fishing Village, maybe known as Starfish Beach. When you see those starfish right there, too it’s just kind of magical. Anyway, that water there is super see-through. Just remember be very mindful of the starfish when you get that photograph. Very few things are as annoying when folks behave dumb and damage the local wildlife in the region! Too it’s almost cool to just chill out and check out real folks living locally at a spot similar to this. Now, doing something like this almost makes your vacation.

The Guide: Local Intel

Local Tour Guide

That being said, you can tell that they, like, love showing peeps all around the island. I mean, all that small talk about the spots really does seem genuine, which really adds something. They kinda make you feel really in the know, which is great. Very likely you might actually learn about some really odd stuff that really brings context about what you are really seeing.

What Could Be Improved: A Few Tweaks

Anyhow, everything might be almost good, there’s like, maybe some changes they really could look into, basically. More or less some of the trips they’re having right now are pretty big, and you, right, might like to sort of be somewhere else where it’s just more intimate if that makes sense? When you actually get somewhere a bit earlier you maybe bypass most of the crazy number of travellers. This kind of impacts things that you are doing for sure!.

Overall Value: Is It Worth It?

In the final analysis, that tour, right, seems like a good option if you want a broad overview tour of the area North, basically. I want to be very honest, too it’s worth it if your time is short, right, if you really don’t have time to scout things out yourself, right, for a number of weeks, then this thing gets stuff checked out. Though, okay, yeah, if small numbers are something you kinda hope for then, very very well maybe you should see what else they could sell you because yeah it might turn into the slightly more touristy affair if you, in a way, don’t look at other opportunities you should be getting. Also if your own interests could be more detailed, right, than maybe not!
