After the Taj, we squeezed in a trip to Agra Fort, a really sprawling complex offering these great views of the Taj Mahal in the distance. Very beautiful! We learned heaps about the Mughal dynasty, yet those are some stories.

Delhi: A Whirlwind Tour of India’s Capital

The last stop was Delhi, quite a mad rush after the quiet vibe of Agra. Delhi hits you with a totally different feel, you know? A total mega city! We cruised through India Gate, which they say is very imposing and grand, then we passed by the President’s House and government buildings. I’m so glad we checked out Humayun’s Tomb, too, often deemed a precursor to the Taj Mahal; it has a similar sort of refined beauty, too.
