What I particularly enjoyed, that’s to say aside from seeing these landmarks, was, maybe, that Michael shared all sorts of personal stories and facts that you might just miss if you are stuck on one of those, well, pretty impersonal big bus tours. This more human element gave it a certain extra depth to the experience, you see? He also guided me near the murals and I was surprised at how many hidden gems there were that I would definitely had not seen without him.
Giant’s Causeway: Nature’s Masterpiece
The Giant’s Causeway really is one of those places you absolutely must see to properly believe, yet pictures really just do not capture how stunning it is. We drove, so, I’m pretty sure it took us about an hour from Belfast through really gorgeous countryside. Michael pointed out some landmarks as we went by, too, which was a lovely touch, so I didn’t get bored during the trip. Getting there felt like properly stepping into some kind of fable with all those hexagonal basalt columns stretching, really, as far as you can see and diving straight into the ocean. What made this, though, perhaps very exceptional, was the fact Michael knew all the best spots away from, that is, those teeming crowds of people. I felt like I got my own private viewing and that was something properly memorable.

That isn’t really an issue since you can just swing by that cafe that seems quite interesting to you. Actually wanting to linger just a bit longer at one of the spots? Then no problem. Everything is all up to you. This degree of very much personal attention really transforms the whole day into something that’s very special. Actually Michael adapted the tour on the hoof depending what seemed of great interest to me. It’s something I definitely felt really enhanced the entire experience, well above the set itineraries usually have. He even asked if there was a location where I wanted to stop or have lunch, making me feel heard.
Value for Money: Is That Worth the Splurge?
Okay, so let’s speak about the elephant just sitting in the room which is, perhaps, very likely the price. Private tours just cost more. There’s just no way around it, you see. So perhaps what’s pretty essential is to properly check those reviews and ask for someone really experienced just to make sure that you have a good old time.

Sure, so it really will cost you a bit more, that’s almost given. Then just think of the ease, plus what you actually get in the way of something pretty amazing that just makes every penny very, very well spent. It worked out amazingly for me.
