Pattaya Indigo Bar: My Review of Bay Beach Resort Packages
Visiting Pattaya, Thailand is such a treat, and finding just the perfect spot to relax, you know, it’s super important. So, I thought I’d tell you about my visit to the Indigo Bar, found at the Bay Beach Resort Jomtien. I will, too, give my thoughts on the deals they’ve got. I was there not too long ago. Let’s get right to it, you know, and see what this chill spot is all about.
First Impressions: The Vibe and the Views
Alright, so, walking up to the Indigo Bar, the first thing I picked up on was this easygoing atmosphere. That, to be fair, is probably just what anyone is wanting on their trip, you know? It is very close to the sea at Jomtien; sitting there I had this amazing view. I tell you, that makes every single sip just a bit better. The design is, in a way, beachy casual, which, really, puts you just so at rest. Getting a seat looking out at the gulf, well, that is how it should be. If, like your average person, you value good scenery along with good drinks, it would be a spot for you. And, very likely, it’s what any visitor is there for anyway. But I can’t tell you too much about the drinks just yet, hold on a sec.
Looking Over the Menu: Food and Drink Choices
So, regarding the menu, it’s got all kinds of grub from yummy Thai dishes that have just been cooked up to international things you’ll spot anywhere, alright? We kicked off by getting the spring rolls, I did; they came out crisp with a sweet sauce, just lovely. I tried the green chicken curry, really, it was great, a dish you could spend time savoring with creamy coconut along with tender pieces. My other half grabbed one of those well-done burgers, with all the usual things, and you know what, it was gone quick. It can often seem like easy food, but it filled him up; the right meal at the right time. It seemed just very satisfying.
To speak about the drink choices, they had lots, but a bunch were pretty ordinary, you know, beers, the odd thing, this and that. Still, as I said earlier, seeing the gulf does make it feel special, so the Indigo Bar gains points for that. We both went through quite a few mojitos and a fruit thing with a fancy straw for later. It was, you know, the kind of afternoon that stretches out ahead of you, yet very soon is done, more or less. Prices seem just a little higher compared to other joints round here, but what else is there to say. This can often happen if something is part of a beach club; anyway, you might find it worth the money for that view and vibe!
Facebook Packages: Good Deal or Nah?
Okay, so you should definitely check the Facebook deals for the Indigo Bar; usually, such pages will do decent promos, you see, very. When we were there, they showed off several packages with food and drinks, you know. The value was good as far as these things go, not perfect, it needs to be said, yet definitely worth the try. With such package deals, that gives the food something of a fair price point. Sometimes you will only pay a few extra notes for that better location. One package in particular had a bottle of something sparkling along with some finger food bites. Those are the deals to aim for, generally!
Be mindful, just sometimes deals could change. Be very sure to check all the fine print to find out what is covered, right? As far as booking such package deals, doing it via Facebook Messenger or some other chat app on a phone may well be easiest. As long as there is email confirmation of what you are getting for your money, well, no problem.
How the Indigo Bar Stacks Up
So, looking back at that Indigo Bar experience, here’s a list of where it does pretty well:
- Location: Right, the location has a cracking view out at sea, definitely a stand-out point, that, clearly.
- Vibe: Chilled vibes going on, feels quite special, perfect, seemingly, for hanging loose and losing the thoughts from back home.
- Choices: A very passable number of both eats and tasty liquids, though it has to be said some look less appealing.
- Deals: Checking on Facebook, I believe it will be the way to bag a bargain. I suggest booking directly via their channels, definitely, absolutely.
Okay, where could they maybe pull up their socks?
- Pricing: Some normal menu things can seem high, when viewed alone. If, just hypothetically, something tastes nasty or takes ages to arrive, maybe you’d change your mind; clearly the cost reflects the location, alright?
- Crowds: From when I visited it felt really nicely set back, but during a peak season? Still, the size is adequate and there will be more foot traffic down there, that said.
Overall, what can anyone really say? Well, this spot can feel fairly special for just a relaxing treat in Pattaya. So long as you’re clever regarding money, it is totally worth popping by. The vistas? Such value!
In short: worth a look!
My visit, at any rate, to the Indigo Bar in Bay Beach Resort Jomtien definitely hit some high spots, right? Location? Top class. Those prices not as friendly perhaps, but who really worries about such things that much these days. Facebook could save some notes there anyway. So, definitely make it happen; cheers!
