Melbourne’s Chilling Hidden Spots: A Review of Creepy Tales

So, you know, Melbourne is really famous for its laneways and its places that not everyone can find too it’s almost a constant, fun search for people that live here. And some of these tucked-away spots hold way more than meets the eye, and in some cases, that includes maybe even a bit of a creepy story. I went looking for some spots that supposedly are, in a way, like a little chilling, and wanted to share what I think.

The Croft Institute: A Scientific Setting That Is Slightly Strange

Basically, this spot has got three different levels all designed a little bit differently and that kinda all have to do with maybe how the science world once looked. It’s almost designed like a forgotten school or hospital of sorts, very, very odd at times. The thing that folks seem to mention? That’s supposedly, they say that way back, the area had like, you know, maybe slightly darker times with happenings linked to what they claim, like, experiments on people that shouldn’t be touched, like, arguably giving a pretty haunting feel to things now. It seems maybe like shadows playing tricks or sounds when no one else is near that’s, as I was saying, kinda something many there say they feel. Could just be old pipes too.

The Mitre Tavern: Is It Old-School With Actual Old Ghosts?

Arguably tucked right away from a main road that might make you, very, very easily fly on by, it is, maybe a tiny space oozing with what some claim is old-world times, and some even claim with actual, old unearthly guests too. I mean, you can tell, that’s basically a bit of a space with much to say and plenty of history too, like, the actual walls have been there since basically forever, but this also might mean there’s stories there beyond what we can prove with what we think. We felt it’s really an easy place, when, in fact, not crowded, to almost be like it might be, you know, it is very, very still with lots and lots of whispers around from people of eras far gone.

Rooftop Bar: Views Plus Maybe a Shady Story As Well?

Really sitting atop Curtin House is a thing people are looking for with good times so very many levels up with great things, and actually, that gives super wide, pretty views all around of the main areas, yet arguably under the good times, there maybe might be a shadowy feel that might remain there just below sight. This might sound bizarre or weird to some. Folks say tales exist that there once occurred some odd, honestly very sinister situations on some level, or others in the build back when it was kinda newer; maybe, seemingly some point folks even say it might give the feel that sometimes they don’t feel quite alone, so they say, while they’re looking over the entire metro zone too. Just saying what they said to me though.

The Curtin Hotel: Rock ‘n’ Roll Plus Unseen Guests As Well?

Likely not many, anyway, would ever really claim it to be spooky or bizarre, but its kinda, real legacy and status with those tied into musical happenings gives to it seemingly a rather intense pull for energy from like forever it feels. When folks are alone they even state some things they claim seemingly that are real bizarre experiences, like seemingly glimpses of moments that may be of folks who might still act like its the 1970s and the group just wrapped. Many have said it’s very much intense to be sitting or just relaxing alone and really think someone is close by. It, as I was saying, seems like maybe they never totally left, or anything. Odd too, really.

Princess Theatre: Center Stage, And A Stage For Spooks?

Now, so many Melbourne residents might tell this place has stories around about actors of history. It’s very much an ornate theater to begin. But so many that spend too much time alone there really state that its very intense when not with anyone there as really they feel what folks call Mr. Frederick Baker, it’s almost one very dedicated member from all of history whom they also state he did not move far from here now that’s, in a way, like saying a star actor died on this actual very stage and is really bound here really forever now, too it’s almost maybe like, allegedly its intense and known he still is giving what would appear as his all during the show. He wants so much to be a player.

Well that’s a start, actually. Melbourne’s back ways are where all the creepy stuff lives. Very intense! Just walk around some days!
