Honest Review: Puerto Vallarta ATV Jungle Adventure

If you’re thinking about adding some zoom to your Puerto Vallarta vacation, then, a jaunt on an ATV through the jungle could be just what the doctor ordered. An ATV jungle escapade, so too it’s almost, is that a very talked-about option, apparently, among people heading to this place. I am here to tell you all about one such trip, you know, based on my time tearing up those trails myself.

Gearing Up for the Great Outdoors

Before getting anywhere near an ATV, that’s typically the pre-flight drill, that they give you a lowdown on what you should expect. This very typically, so too it’s almost, means a short session that reviews the ATV workings and also some pretty simple safety guidelines. Now, I gotta say, that those guides definitely hammered home that being aware and abiding by the guidelines could make or break the trip. Think of the guide’s briefing as, you know, an amped-up version of the car safety segment that airlines provide. Wearing a helmet is so important, so too it’s almost, to protect your head while riding, yet goggles are too it’s almost, helpful in the jungle. Before you even think about revving that engine, make that you have actually adjusted every piece of gear snugly, right?

Roaring Down the Riverbed

Let me tell you, that cruising down the riverbeds might be the centerpiece for these ATV jaunts. Seriously, Picture yourself in the driver’s seat, is that the warm sun on your face, you know, as you make your way through some water. The rivers, as I saw them, actually ran anything from a couple inches to perhaps shin-deep. It is actually quite amazing to feel your tires claw their way across these slippery stones while the water flies from everywhere! I actually found that this river segment gives a singular chance to simply chill with Mother Earth as it adds excitement, right?

Jungle Views and Backcountry Trails

What I loved best had to be going deep into the bush, to see some views and wild plants in a completely unusual way. As I saw them, you can expect lots of green as these routes snake over land bursting with vegetation. You are, apparently, probably kicking up mud while navigating inclines and twists which call for just a bit of mastery of those machines. Along those pathways you can, for example, check out some bird calls or glimpse odd lizards chilling within the green, just a little.

A Splash of Local Culture

Several excursions throw some village stops into the mix where you can engage with nearby inhabitants. Typically, it involves stopping somewhere for refreshments that supports locals and may offer insights to ways locals exist around here. Getting off your ATV now and again for breaks means extending past, you know, a mad dash—now you get, actually, snippets of daily existence and, in fact, just get to know what life looks and feels like there in small town Mexico.

Is It Worth Your While?

These jungle-based ATV day outs are often just fine if someone gets super charged by adrenaline mixed into scenery, you know. For any soul that needs something a tad hair-raising mixed with marvelous backdrop, this selection works well! That thrill, of course, may be dampened some if mud doesn’t sound amazing. I would suggest checking if the trips emphasize traveler comfort levels such as whether or not guides are certified in wilderness help and that gear used remains regularly maintained.
