Like most popular stops, the advantage with this tour is beating some of those giant packs of tourists, could be.

Avanos Pottery Village: More Than Just Clay

Avanos, is your pottery town, basically, and too that’s like getting hands-on (literally, actually), pretty great. Watching a pottery craftsman turn just a lump of clay right into a fantastic vase, I can say, this, as a matter of fact, could be called pretty impressive. The small group meant we got the chance, really to chat with the artisan, understand just a bit, basically the techniques and history behind the pottery in the area. Some members of our group got themselves trying the potter’s wheel and, of course, this ended with laughter and memories that will, just a little, maybe last forever. Pottery wasn’t the primary reason I booked the tour, I’ll confess, so it’s almost one of those pleasant little shocks along the road, too.

The Upsides: Why Go Small?

Okay, so here is the tea on going small: smaller groups are the key to personal service. I observed a guide, probably, handle concerns on the fly, cater to interests, so he could probably answer specific questions more deeply. It is that bigger is much less of the time and less personable as you consider seeing. To obtain the opportunity of creating a real bond with the local specialists, this small group strategy really seemed to pay dividends. It seems very obvious once you see other tours with like fifty+ individuals being hurried along, or what? We took our time, seemingly. We stopped for photographs as it suited us, that, you get to feel just so good, and basically we got to know more about Turkey thanks to actually our helpful guide, that’s probably the best thing.

I suggest sun protection for your warm days and maybe an extra layer as you do cave exploring, I suggest it in that kind of situation where it could be chilly, basically.
