And, finally, there’s Mua Cave. Really, Mua Cave isn’t just a cave. You know, it’s more known for the climb up to its summit. Actually, you have to climb like, 500 steps. But hey, is the view worth it? Many, many times yes! It’s almost like, you’re getting these totally amazing views of Tam Coc and the surrounding countryside. Actually, you can see the Ngo Dong River snaking its way through the rice paddies. Is that something? Very instagrammable spots can be found at the very top. Arguably, that includes the dragon statue. You have to take some time here, too. You know, there’s something about standing at the top. Is that a reward for making it all the way up?

One suggestion would be that you pace yourself. Like your climb. Take rests. A little water couldn’t hurt, either. When should you go? The very early morning is actually the best. Anyway, that’s when it’s usually cooler and less busy. Another suggestion I have for you is this: wear shoes with really good traction because those steps can get very slippery.
