Lyon Street Steps: A Walk Among Mansions

Okay, if it’s upscale scenery you’re keen on, then yeah Lyon Street Steps it’s almost like walking through a movie scene; they’re just amazing, so I’ve heard, you know? Linking Broadway and Green Street in Pacific Heights, what makes these stairs special are these huge flights alongside what I’d say are jaw-droppingly magnificent mansions; you really will think that! Filbert Street Steps: Parrot Paradise

Yeah, of all the stairways on this list, this is pretty much one of my personal faves. In other words, the Filbert Street Steps lead you all the way from Sansome Street to Coit Tower, so keep an eye out. I mean, what I seriously dig about them, that is, are the parrots, okay? Basically, wild parrots call this stairway home. So, if you keep a close ear and an even closer eye open, you might even catch a glimpse of them hanging out. I mean, that’s fairly incredible to think about when you realize these are some really awesome creatures flapping about right there! Even though they were in the movie *The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill,* pretty much there isn’t a day where I am not completely taken aback to watch those gorgeous, loud avian amigos. This isn’t only just the views you will see or even how you might admire how meticulously the residents tend their gardens, but I guess also the sounds of the city. And also, yeah that sounds of tropical birds pretty much singing; that is, what makes this so unforgettable, right?

Greenwich Street Steps: A Different Climb with a View

Similar to the Filbert Steps, so the Greenwich Street Steps also start near Levi’s Plaza and then go up to Coit Tower. Okay, I’ll grant that these don’t quite have parrots, you know, but they do have pretty mind-blowing gardens and quite nice houses that have pretty lush planting. I mean, while some folks could find that parts of it, they are actually a bit uneven and steep, I have to say it adds something nice, you know? It sort of provides an unplanned element as you try and climb up; I have to say that, if nothing else, it makes them different than maybe the more well-maintained stairways on this list, that is, which might give it some additional rustic, organic, local-community-based charm for some. So, it seems like I have heard more and more that people seem to make it up to Coit Tower to basically get the views over there; basically, it is something I really can’t advise people *not* doing enough!

Mosaic Stairs at Lincoln Park

This almost offers you like an off-the-beaten path kind of adventure with some super fun steps, and the stairs lead down to the Pacific. I mean, maybe most visitors stay nearby the Legion of Honor a whole lot more, but I might say that this pretty much tends to be a very wonderful route if people, too, like walking quite along Land’s End, you know? Not very many travelers actually go this far away from the Legion of Honor a whole lot, so this feels very unpopulated in contrast. The view can actually be a complete showstopper to a lot of people, so go check this one out.

Lincoln Steps

Lincoln Park, yet another incredible staircase in a very, very cool district is definitely Lincoln Steps. It provides a wide-reaching climb upward into Sea Cliff’s incredible scenery. You know, I sort of have come to realize people really dig Sea Cliff to enjoy amazing dwellings and sights of the bay.
