First off, the departure from Dubrovnik’s harbor is, very pretty. As we pulled away from the shore, the ancient city walls looked amazing. The sunlight streams in, hitting the water just so and it lights up the entire cave in this electric blue hue. It’s almost, you know, surreal like you’re in a movie scene, that.
Spending time in the cave goes by way quickly. You’ve, just a little, time for swimming, and a couple of snaps before it is, you know, time to move on. As a matter of fact, listen to your guide for any tips on snapping photos so you can catch all that light, or something like that.
Island Hopping: Exploring the Elaphiti Archipelago
The tour takes you island hopping, so too you experience some of the gems of the Elaphiti Islands, which is really amazing! We stopped at Šipan, known for its, actually, lush landscapes, that are really something. We grabbed lunch at a restaurant right by the water—fresh seafood is kind of, literally, calling your name there, that is so. After lunch, we hopped over to Lopud. Lopud has sandy beaches, so, too that are quite amazing for Croatia; sunbathing and swimming? Of course, that’s there!
Each island had this vibe that was distinct, which gave each its time in the spotlight. I would say that pace can feel just a tad rushed, especially if you would appreciate to soak up all the culture, too it’s nearly hard! You can, in some respects, think about what you are hoping to get from each stop to manage how your time best is, or whatever, that is what some suggest.
What to Bring and Other Helpful Pointers
