So, finding The View is surprisingly quite easy because it’s linked to the Nakheel Mall, which is pretty big, you see. You could drive there; there is some pretty good parking. Or you could do what I did and that’s using the Dubai Metro and tram system. The closest metro stop is the Nakheel Mall station, you know. It only involves a little walk to the mall itself from there. That part is air-conditioned. And who does not love to enjoy a temperature-controlled stroll? Especially when that heat is turned up to eleven?

The next part, tickets, so, they have got options there. There’s your normal “skip the line” ticket, which is very helpful during tourist times. There are those VIP tickets that get one exclusive entry. To be honest? Standard is really just fine, it could be, unless you honestly hate those little queues, I think. Going online is always a good idea, because it just ensures your place is secured, especially, like your spring break kind of stuff. By the way, remember to just double check those timings. They, typically, tend to fluctuate based on day/season, at the end of the day.

My Experience: Highs and, well, Highs

Okay, so I’ve reached the top; first impression? Very striking indeed, really. The panorama does what you were told it does, right? You could stare right out across the Palm Jumeirah. So, too its design resembles a palm tree, you get to, literally, see how that functions from your higher viewpoint. I just spent some minutes only trying to pick out landmarks. Very fun.

The observation deck? Actually, I will say that they’ve done it justice. Big, actually big enough for space to move without feeling like your sardines within some tin can. Information displays, and those digital displays, I think that those help a little. The history comes to the tourist like some visual timeline showing this transition period into existence.

As for photography? Okay, it really is photography heaven! You should remember one thing, at the end of the day, so too it’s mostly inside it is still possible to grab clean shots, mostly. That means if the weather does play nicely, too. The sun? Just watch that when you go, like if you want the lighting to be perfect to get images without all the haze from it. Also?
