While it is actually interesting to see this group and learn a little about their culture, what you do also need to consider is whether or not your visit could potentially be viewed as voyeuristic or supportive of a sort of “human zoo.” It is, you know, important to approach with that kind of respect, yet and perhaps a little bit of skepticism. You get an insight, arguably, into a culture, however, there is also, typically, a shop element where you are kind of encouraged to buy crafts. Whether this is something you are okay with is really a personal call, that’s all.

Food and Facilities
