Why Buffalo Soldier? The Backstory

Okay, first off, you might be wondering, what’s the story with the Buffalo Soldier name, correct? It, seems, too, it is kinda cool. Basically, the trail owners were inspired, seemingly, by the Bob Marley song of the same name, apparently. The song celebrates, you know, the resilience and strength, arguably, of the African American soldiers, you see, in the 19th-century American West, in fact. Supposedly, the trail designers hoped, arguably, to bring that same spirit of adventure and perseverance, it seems to me, to the biking experience in the Chiang Mai hills, more or less.

Booking and First Impressions

The thing is, signing up, right, that part’s pretty straightforward. I just went, like, through their site, it felt a bit, like, old-school but functional, more or less. The people did get back quickly to my messages. They wanted to know, that’s right, about, you understand, my experience. It sounds, like, they truly want to find the tour fit. The vibe, I get, right away, right, they put riders first. Meeting the team the first morning, yes, confirmed that for sure.

The Gear and the Guides

Seriously, the bikes are nicely kept and well, seemingly, too maintained, so, yeah. It’s important for a good time on the trails. They checked, like, my fit carefully. They changed things, and then things felt great to be comfortable for hours, I have to admit. Now, that the guides, those guys, are the true stars. Not only that they are experts, too. These men really love it out here. Hearing info, arguably, and some facts from their experience out there makes all so good, so basically yes!

Hitting the Trails: What to Expect

And finally, this is why you’re still here. The routes changed according to my fitness, seemingly, and tastes too, in fact, so listen to them! Anyway, trails take you down dirt routes, that’s right, rocky slopes and lush, beautiful green, as a matter of fact. You should know, a few bits felt scary. Getting down some spots made my heart pump really loud but never, though, unsafe really at all! The vistas up high though make work out there all great, truly great. Seeing that Thailand green go far back just relaxes that spirit inside there.

Food and Refreshments: Staying Fueled

Honestly, this isn’t about raw exertion of going hard non-stop. Many stops took time with snacks and fluids to charge all the batteries that started draining. This included some cool native fruits I hadn’t ever tried really. I liked too they kept talking of respecting that environment the entire way also.

Do I think you, yes, really you should try this experience? I would give the thumbs-up definitely, absolutely. If you are even an average rider all would seem happy with some pick from their many plans. If just getting kick-started, no problems at all since they change courses that fit what you know, right? For gurus out there wanting something killer, this option is seemingly really ready for that, more or less too.
