Smaller groups probably equal more one-on-one time with the instructor, really, so you don’t get lost in the crowd and not taught correctly by him, I imagine. Comfortable wetsuits without too many holes, right? My Personal Experience with Lessons on Cote des Basques

I tried one of the well-rated surf schools a couple years ago, like your typical surf school in Biarritz. My instructor appeared really cool; he seemed actually passionate about surfing and, like, making sure we got the hang of things, very much indeed.

The first little part involved stretching with the group a bit to make sure we do not do ourselves any serious damages; that part might be boring, very often.

Then a bit of theory. We practiced popping up on the sand first, you see, to get the motion down, kind of naturally. The ocean will seem quite different if it’s new!

Money. Cost is, like, always part of the picture, yeah? So, Biarritz, it’s a popular spot, basically, but you can get okay deals if that makes sense, possibly even better ones.

Typically, a single surf lesson will probably run you anywhere from, like, 40 to 60 euros. What the prices in that cost for is all boards/wetsuit. All that stuff. It’s worth considering what kind of value that gives back alright? Do the boards feel new? Did they actually replace a board lately as well?
