Beach Forest Eco Adventure: An In-Depth Review
Okay so, if you’re anything like me, you are very much drawn to that awesome combination of sun, sand, and a dash of leafy greenery. I recently took a trip, and to that end I had to spend a chunk of time at the Beach Forest Eco Adventure, and I’m here, to be honest, to spill the tea on my whole experience. Forget those surface-level reviews, I really want to give you the lowdown so you have all the real information you require to plan an awesome trip.
First Impressions and Arrival
So basically, getting there could be quite an experience on its own, really. The location itself is set back from the main tourist zones, which actually gives you that sense of peace and escape immediately. Depending on where you are coming from, you may have to do that little dance with local transport or possibly consider renting a car. To be honest, I grabbed a local taxi, and the driver knew, I guess, all the back roads so, that was kind of a mini-adventure itself! When I got there, I was met with like, a pretty understated entrance – none of that huge, flashy stuff, and to be frank, that was kind of alright with me. It felt authentic and like, welcoming, you know? Very quickly, the staff came out, smiling and super helpful. The check-in went smooth enough, and after that they actually gave me this rundown of the park, a bunch of useful tips, and, like, they gave me a map that didn’t feel completely confusing to read, which is really more than I could possibly ask for, generally. Initial vibes? Mostly positive for me. That whole ‘eco’ thing certainly seems, too it’s almost like, a thing here, from what I saw very early.
The Beach Experience
Okay so, let’s get right into that beach bit. Obviously it is named ‘Beach Forest’ for a reason, after all! The sand isn’t some, you know, perfectly white stuff, which, I believe, is not such a bad thing, but it is like, very soft under your feet. Very quickly, the water looked amazingly clear. I am told that they keep that pretty clean, so, cheers to that. I decided to grab a swim pretty much immediately. A little cold at first, but honestly, you get very accustomed to it quite quickly, you know? I didn’t see massive waves here, so I do believe it’s pretty safe for little kids and those of us who just like chilling, rather than proper swimming. Loads of loungers and umbrellas available, and very conveniently placed. Basically, a bit busy, yeah, but you are able to grab your space. The one thing that I thought was extra thoughtful was that they had a few folks walking around to take drink orders, very much meaning I didn’t have to move, in any way, from my spot! What a life, is that not right?
Exploring the Forest Trails
So, obviously, once you get your fill of sand and waves, the forest section calls your name, too it’s almost like. There is a network of trails that really wind through the area, from pretty easy strolls to stuff that requires, like, hiking boots, actually. As a person who owns neither good shoes, nor enjoys pain I definitely chose, I suppose, that gentler option. The trails are, for the most part, pretty clearly marked, though I am known for my navigational disasters so there may have been a brief moment when I questioned myself! That place is very shady so, too it’s almost, the perfect hideaway if you start really melting on the beach. The forest itself, honestly, bustles with that wild kind of life. Lots of interesting bird sounds going on around you, if you stop and listen and then, I’m told, some lizards are somewhere there as well, however, they appear shy. They actually put information boards all around there telling you, clearly, stuff regarding local flora and fauna. Nice touch I think. As someone who grew up, so to speak, in a city, I appreciated learning a bunch of things I didn’t have a clue about, yeah.
Activities and Excursions
So okay, boredom isn’t very much on the menu here, to be clear, with so much on offer. Of course, you have all the standards, like volleyball and frisbee if you like sport, but it sounds like they could set you up with kayaks or paddleboards to rent very quickly. I had some energy, yet decided, you know, that a guided kayak tour round that coast was the best choice, because I want to hear what other people have to say, while also getting exercise, if possible! That guide knew the spot incredibly well and then pointed out loads of hidden beaches and, obviously, told us plenty regarding local animals, or something. I did glimpse, apparently, a sea turtle, and honestly, that nearly made my week, yeah. They also offer a few, I understand, guided hikes if you want to discover further into the forest and actually, you know, not get lost like I almost did. Sadly I ran out of the time, still, they seemed mega popular. They have that eco focus going very much on in all their excursions, they state, that the activity does not mess, too it’s almost like, with nature. Good, really good stuff.
Food and Drink
So look, a decent adventure is, without a doubt, fuelled by a ton of snacks, very. I had some really pleasant moments with the food options they have going on there. Instead of just the, I don’t know, usual fries and burgers, they are trying to source local and very fresh ingredients, or something. I actually ate at the beachfront cafe and really enjoyed some fresh seafood. They actually had salads with local greens which made me, believe it or not, really happy since all that fried stuff, as you might already be aware, gets old very quickly, I feel. Costs are maybe a smidge on the higher end of things, however, I think you’re definitely paying, so, for the location and freshness. There’s also that cocktail bar if you like a bit of a relaxed evening, also serving juices and smoothies for those of us being more ‘wellbeing’ conscious, something I apparently aspire to!
Eco-Friendly Practices
So okay, what makes the spot extra special? Their solid effort to stay, so to speak, very eco-friendly. They really seem to practice what they talk about, to be honest, that you notice from the moment you arrive there. They’re mega serious regarding reducing plastic, using renewable sources for energy and recycling is definitely a major thing. I saw loads of spots for waste separation everywhere. They also do such a good job regarding, well, educational things with the local community and teaching all their visitors regarding valuing that natural world a great deal more. It wasn’t simply a marketing thing – there seems to be a very deep desire, I suppose, to conserve that gorgeous spot. Kudos, really, very much due.
Accommodation Options
So, for all those wanting to really extend their stay, that adventure area has a few very good places to just hang, you know. From eco-lodges to pretty fancy cabins, there’s actually something for most wallets, pretty. I opted, obviously, for that more rustic eco-lodge which really nestled nicely into that forest. It didn’t come with a load of those fancy things, yet it was actually clean, comfortable and honestly, that sound of all that forest surrounding you, for me, was priceless. I quickly made friends with someone staying at a very fancier cabin, however, and she let me view it. Very plush it was! Overlooking that ocean, that view was ridiculously Instagram worthy. Wherever you pick to stay there, do very much book in advance, most assuredly if you are visiting through peak season, okay?
Things to Consider
So basically, before you pack those bags, a few little things that I really thought would be useful. Firstly, bring some solid walking boots. Those trails can get a tiny bit slippery, you know, and you don’t want to spoil any ankles, I tell you. Second, go crazy on sunscreen and that insect spray. That sun really beats down there and the bugs are honestly relentless, sadly. I very much recommend bringing some of your own drinks and treats, definitely if you are counting your pennies, yes? Last but not least, definitely try, maybe, learning a tiny bit of that local language, definitely. Even basic phrases go very much a long way and locals do tend to appreciate that, definitely.
To be honest, The Beach Forest Eco Adventure is such a solid destination, alright, which mixes that peaceful experience by that sea with that adventurous fun in those forests. With a solid focus regarding being green, a fantastic range of activities on offer, plus somewhere nice to grab a bite, there’s honestly very much something here that suits most. Would I consider visiting this area in the future? For sure!
