Plus, seeing the CNN headquarters allowed me a peek into, really, the news’ behind-the-scenes operations, which I admit I found fascinating. Atlanta surely offers experiences that give everyone a little something new.

What Stood Out and Potential Hiccups

Having someone with me, acting as my local guide, certainly did stand out. I got to do exactly what I wanted, whether that involved spending more time at an attraction, going through a street, or grabbing food at a hole-in-the-wall eatery. You kind of just learn more when it suits your own interests instead of conforming to other people. As far as issues, I can only point to a bit of traffic. It might throw a wrench in the timing; however, it did provide an accurate depiction of what drives one’s life within the town. Really though, it gave the feeling that things were happening around us and provided proof of just how exciting things were.

Is This the Best Way to See Atlanta?

Now, that is the million-dollar query, isn’t it? I can tell you that deciding on a private tour did provide you something worthwhile. It did move me away from struggling to find locations using transit or going along with slow-moving public tours. You also can customize and see all the locations based only upon your tastes. For the traveler that has limited time and is set on experiencing some spots within a short window, I would say a “yes” appears appropriate.
