These creatures, in front of you, exist; seeing their interactions, like the moms nurturing their young ones, or maybe seeing that sliver of silverback observing his group with a sort of intensity – you won’t forget it! You normally get, oh, maybe about an hour with them, and that is, arguably, tightly controlled to minimize disturbance.

Accommodation and Food

Rwanda’s tours have generally seemed the more, definitely, pricier. But there are some amazing ways you get what you pay for – and how that drive to the gorillas tends to be slightly easier given the superior infrastructure in Rwanda. But whether this tour can be “worth it” or not tends to, so, come down to, like, weighing if that time is short or not, that value received from close proximity with these cool primates or not.

Make sure you look carefully into exactly which companies organize these tours. Search around a little for a respected provider who seems to be open and has very, like, favorable feedback, for that matter, and keep open for discussion any add-on costs. Are tips to local guides, like the park rangers, you know, considered? And travel during off-peak months, you know, so there is a, well, some discount offered? Always read thoroughly so, actually, you understand the details. So it seems.

Would I Say It Was Worth It, Really?

Actually, coming nose-to-nose with those gorillas, I will say it’s amazing! To me, in fact, seeing wildlife doing natural things made all, or at least the majority of, the discomfort worthwhile. That very fact that this whole thing can be kind of expensive really pushes me, really, to, almost, say that these 3-day trips work really better for someone very tight on that travel time or if someone finds a, a, you know, killer bargain somewhere along the way.

Thinking this, like your travel time back and forth, may prove long; in my view, stretching that visit and, anyway, spending some more extra time in these lovely spots offers more chance for just general enjoyment. Is what I mean.
