My Personal Experience on the Green Tour

Okay, so, time for my personal take. You see, I booked my Green Tour ahead of time online, mainly so I wouldn’t have to run the risk of my schedule going way off-kilter once I reached Cappadocia. Next up was the Ihlara Valley, that is like, a breath of seriously cool air after being underground. That hike through the valley was pretty peaceful, more or less. That scenery, like, with the river running alongside us and these, kind of like, tall cliffs surrounding us… wow, right? We stopped at one of those old church buildings cut into the rocks. They held so many images that felt old and genuine, too.

Exploring Selime Monastery

The Selime Monastery had been the, arguably, one of the biggest spots we checked out that day. That place had seemed seriously impressive. Climbing around the rock-cut buildings was so neat, more or less. I will admit I had been pretty tired after all that exploration, yet I just could not have held myself back. Too much excitement.

Panoramic Views

We ended the tour with stops at viewpoints over Pigeon Valley and Goreme. That panorama views were super pleasing and I, for one, got the chance to take loads of photos. At Pigeon Valley you get these tons of bird houses everywhere on the cliffs. That Goreme vista at sundown, arguably, felt pretty unreal, painting a full and colorful picture that still pops in my mind to this day!
